Very Conscience Text

I found this text to be very useful to me and prefer it among other steel texts. Concentration on bridges makes this book even more valuable. The text in, many sections, deals with some more advanced theories about steel which you may not find in many texts.

This is an excellent book on steel design. It covers both theory and practice in detail. I wish either the 2nd edition or an updated edition would be available.

Great book

This book I think is way better for someone actually interested in steel design. Better than the steel design book that everyone gets by Segui. Don't get me wrong Segui is good. But good for just class work. It lacks the engineering in it. This steel structures book gives you great examples and real life pictures and history to help you grasp it better. There's even a chapter on steel bridges and a nice real world example on it.
