I love Churchill livingston's books. Good layout and very organized content. Clear illustration & table. Pharmaceutics is a very boring subject, if you don't understand, you won't get it. This book provide a good explain. I hope to see more updated on this book, the latest edition is 2007, a bit old...

Great book. I also own a hard copy but the convenience of having it on my laptop is worth the extra $80.00. The material itself is concise and although a bit challenging at first, after a little thought is invested the book becomes a window to the magical world of pharmacy...........Much impressed!

Excellent single reference for pharmaceutical development

Pharmaceutical manufacture is not a straightforward science. Often the design of novel formulations is empirical and is a result of careful consideration of many factors, usually a number of trial formulations are needed before the best performing is chosen for further study. The principles of the properties of medicine and the interaction with excipients, or non-active ingredients, is demonstrated in clear chapters with discrete topics and always with a real example. This book is an excellent reference or study guide for those in industry such as analytical chemists and is of central importance for formulators, manufacturing scientists and those involved in manufacturing scale-up or pre-formulation.
